SharkNinja is seeking a paralegal with a strong background in securities and corporate governance to join our legal team in Needham, MA. The Senior Corporate Paralegal will assist with securities and public company matters, SEC filings and NYSE requirements, as well as with board and corporate governance. They will be primarily responsible for assisting attorneys on the Securities and Corporate Governance Team. The role will have the opportunity for other projects within the Legal Department and as assigned by the Chief Legal Officer, as well as to work across functions with other business units.

Senior Corporate Paralegal:

Duties/Responsibilities:

Assist the legal team in various tasks including but not limited to:

  • Preparing and reviewing the company’s SEC filings, including reports on Forms 10-K, 10-Q, and 8-K, annual proxy statement (DEF 14A), and related materials
  • Supporting Board and committee operations, including preparing agendas, minutes, resolutions, and other governance records; maintenance of governance policies and committee charters and related materials
  • Supporting disclosure controls and procedures and coordinating inputs from cross-functional teams
  • Supporting director onboarding, training, annual evaluations, and governance-related disclosures
  • Assisting with annual meeting logistics and related materials
  • Maintaining insider trading compliance processes, D&O questionnaires, and related governance certifications
  • Leading Section 16 reporting and beneficial ownership tracking
  • Assisting with NYSE compliance and required submissions
  • Managing the formalities necessary to maintain SharkNinja’s domestic and international entities, including coordination with corporate agents and legal counsel to maintain minute books, compliance calendars, and annual report filings; record and report director and officer changes; and maintain qualifications to do business
  • Preparing resolutions and other legal documents for attorney review

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Thorough understanding of U.S. securities regulations, NYSE rules, EDGAR filing practices, and corporate governance best practices
  • Experience drafting and reviewing SEC filings, corporate governance documents, and board memoranda and presentations
  • Experience handling confidential information and working with senior management
  • Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving skills; ability to multi-task, meet deadlines, work efficiently, independently, and effectively in time-sensitive situations, and interest in developing proficiency in multiple areas of the law
  • Excellent interpersonal and client service skills, and superior verbal and written communication skills; ability to work effectively across a global enterprise, dealing with stakeholders at all levels of the organization and in various cultures
  • Proven ability to manage complex matters and exercise sound judgment

Education/Experience:

The Pay: Axon is a total compensation company, meaning compensation is made up of base pay, bonus, and stock awards. The starting base pay for this role is between USD 122,500 in the lowest geographic market and USD 200,000 in the highest geographic market. The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as: level, function, training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs, geographic market, and often a combination of all these factors. Your Impact

As ITAR Compliance Director, you will oversee Axon’s International Traffic in Arms Regulation (ITAR) program. What this role involves

Our client, a publicly traded digital health company leveraging technology and AI to transform care delivery, has exclusively retained Solutus Legal Search to assist the executives in their search for a Senior Privacy & AI Counsel. This role reports to the Associate General Counsel, Product, and will be based in San Francisco, CA.

This attorney will serve as a key member of the legal team, acting as a strategic partner to Product, R&D, Hardware, Marketing, and Clinical teams as they develop and launch innovative healthcare solutions. The role is highly integrated with the business and focuses on enabling responsible innovation by embedding privacy and AI governance into product development and operational decision-making. This position offers meaningful exposure to cutting-edge issues at the intersection of healthcare, data, and artificial intelligence, and plays a critical role in maintaining trust with customers and stakeholders.

Responsibilities include:

  • Developing and maintaining privacy and AI governance policies, procedures, and best practices in collaboration with Legal and Compliance teams.
  • Advising cross-functional stakeholders on privacy, data protection, and AI-related legal and regulatory risks, including supporting product development with privacy-by-design principles.
  • Leading privacy impact assessments and data protection impact assessments, and guiding risk mitigation strategies.
  • Supporting incident response, regulatory inquiries, and internal investigations related to privacy and data security in coordination with Security and Compliance teams.
  • Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating agreements with privacy and data protection implications, including data sharing agreements and business associate agreements.
  • Partnering with client-facing and commercial teams to address privacy and AI-related inquiries and ensure alignment with regulatory obligations.

The ideal candidate is a business-minded attorney with deep expertise in privacy and data protection who is comfortable operating in a fast-paced, evolving environment and partnering directly with technical and business stakeholders. This role requires strong judgment, the ability to translate complex regulatory frameworks into practical guidance, and a proactive, solutions-oriented approach to managing risk while enabling innovation.

Experience includes:

  • Approximately 6-8 years of legal experience with a focus on privacy, data protection, and related regulatory matters.
  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school and active bar membership in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
  • Deep knowledge of U.S. and international privacy laws and regulations, including HIPAA, GDPR, and CCPA.
  • Familiarity with AI and machine learning-related legal issues and emerging AI governance frameworks.
  • Experience working cross-functionally with product, engineering, or technical teams in a healthcare, technology, or digital health environment.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts in a clear, business-friendly manner.
  • Experience leveraging technology and AI tools to improve legal workflows is a plus.

The role offers a competitive compensation package, including a base salary range of $230,000 – $270,000, together with eligibility for equity participation. The company also offers comprehensive benefits, including retirement plans with company match, modern life stipends, and support for family and wellness needs. Total compensation is designed to align with the scope and impact of the position.
