We are hiring a Capital Markets & Corporate Governance VP for our Global Legal team in the US!

We are hiring a Chief Operating Officer (COO) to help shape where CareMessage is headed and to build the operating capacity that turns that strategy into patient impact, so that every dollar and every person is deployed in direct service of health equity.
This is a senior executive role and a full member of the Executive Team, reporting directly to the CEO and serving as a strategic thought partner in shaping the organizationâs direction. The COO leads a multi-functional team spanning People Operations, Finance, Compliance and Risk, Operations, and IT, but leads it in service of a larger charge: helping support CareMessageâs multi-year strategy and bringing an operating point of view to how we get there. The mandate is not to grow the organization by adding headcount; it is to build the operating model, systems, and discipline that turn that strategy into a disciplined reality and multiply mission impact, while keeping the team lean, supported, and growing in alignment with our priorities.
Equally important: we need a leader who will own CareMessageâs AI strategy for how we operate, not as a cost play, but as a strategic lever for scale and quality. This role is the compass for what a high-functioning CareMessage looks like. The COOâs first team is the Executive Team, and the COO owns the organizationâs outcomes (its mission impact and its OKRs), not the metrics of any single function in isolation. Success is a lean, high-performing organization where operational efficiency directly funds greater patient impact: functions connected to company OKRs, an AI-enabled operating model that lets us do more with a smaller and more capable team, and a unified Executive Team and Key Functional Leaders operating as one. The measures below run in that order, the organizational outcomes the COO ultimately owns, then the operating dimensions the COO stewards to produce them.
Mission Impact/Patient Outcomes. This is the ultimate measure, not because the COO owns these patient outcomes directly, but because the output of the COOâs output shows up directly in them. The results closest to patients, such as the volume of patients messaged about colorectal cancer screening and comparable clinical-outcome and access KRs, are owned by the teams who run those programs; the COO builds the operating excellence that scales and sustains them. That makes these outcomes the truest signal of whether that excellence is translating into mission, which is why they sit at the top of this list.
Organizational performance and OKR attainment. The COO keeps the whole organization pulling in one direction: ensuring the operating plan and its OKRs ladder up to our strategic vision, clarifying which goals are owned cross-functionally versus by a single department, and resolving the misalignments that surface across teams, so functions execute as one rather than competing for priorities.
People and team. The health and trajectory of the team, through measures like team growth rate, retention, and engagement.
Compliance and risk. The maturation of our compliance and risk posture over time, including audit and control readiness, rather than a narrow set of specific metrics.
Cost and efficiency. How much impact we produce per dollar and per person, through measures like revenue per employee and cost per employee, including progress on AI and automation as the lever to scale impact without scaling headcount proportionally.
Monetization and pricing. The operating infrastructure that lets us capture and grow value, pricing governance and discipline, unit economics (revenue per customer and revenue per patient), and the quality of our financial modeling and dashboarding. Top-line revenue against plan is a commercial (Revenue) outcome; the COO and Finance support it through modeling, process, and visibility rather than owning the number.
We are open to a range of backgrounds, including leaders who have held senior roles across several operational functions and those who have gone deep in one area (Finance, People, Compliance and Risk, or Operations) before broadening. What matters most is the ability to oversee multiple functions effectively, the judgment to lead areas outside oneâs original expertise, and the willingness and capacity to build that expertise where it does not yet exist. First 90 Days: Plan and Begin Executing
Land an integrated operating plan tied to company OKRs, with named owners and a cadence, and secure Executive Team and KFL alignment.
Launch a metrics dashboard covering the dimensions in Metrics for the Role (monetization, cost and efficiency, people, compliance, and mission), with baselines established for at least five measures.
Deliver at least one to two quick wins and run the first quarterly operating review.

This is a Chief Operating Officer position and a full member of the Executive Team. The starting base salary for this role is $287,500 per year (50th percentile of the band). Assuming role expectations are met, compensation automatically moves to the 65th percentile ($328,660 per year) at the six-month mark. Compensation for this role is structured as base salary. Position Summary:
A Content Writer provides our customers with a consistent, relevant, and valuable content experience while they engage with our software. They focus on sustaining products that are already established in the market, ensuring that customer communications and product content accurately capture any feature enhancements or changes. The Software Engineer (Java) operates at a senior engineer level, driving technical direction across core product domains. The role combines deep hands-on Java engineering with architectural ownership â from high-level system design and technology selection to leading delivery of critical, cross-cutting platform capabilities.
At this level, engineering excellence extends beyond implementation: the engineer determines the right approach to complex problems, communicates technical decisions across functions, participates in hiring, and is accountable for the long-term health of the systems they own. This level demands sound judgment on technology and business trade-offs and the ability to act as a technical lead. A defining expectation is mastery of AI-assisted engineering â leveraging agentic AI tools as force multipliers while retaining full ownership of architecture, quality, and technical outcomes.
Our selection process is designed to rigorously assess a candidateâs depth of technical knowledge, problem-solving ability, and alignment with Behavoxâs mission and core values.
As part of the process, candidates will first participate in a series of interviews focused on evaluating their technical expertise and engineering judgment. Candidates who successfully progress through these interviews will then be invited to complete a live technical exercise. The purpose of this live technical assessment is to validate the candidateâs stated technical competencies and assess their ability to solve complex problems with speed, accuracy, and sound engineering judgment. Note that whenever possible, we aim to conduct interviews in person at our offices.

We are looking for an Engineering Manager to build, develop, and partner with a growing team of 5-10 ML Engineers working on AI systems that power our digital forensics capabilities. Youâll be responsible for hiring, coaching, career development, and performance; raising the bar on AI/ML craft by shaping standards, developing engineers, and building a strong community of practice across the team.
Distributed across Canada and Sweden, our MLEs work in cross-functional groups alongside Software Engineers and SDETs, and are organized around missions like Search and Enrichment rather than by technical discipline. As part of the AI Engineering leadership team, youâll work alongside peers to build cohesion across those groups, partner with Tech Leads to shape how we approach difficult technical problems, and collaborate with Product and UX to make sure the team is solving the right problems for our users.
From building AI that investigators can trust to turn months of case work into days, to figuring out what âgoodâ looks like when users are searching for a needle in a haystack theyâve never seen before, our team works on challenging and meaningful problems. Drive operational excellence. Stay accountable for what the team ships, and continuously improve how we work by building frameworks for efficient, high-quality delivery. Protect team autonomy by bringing clarity and keeping decision making complexity low.
Guide technical execution. Stay close enough to the technical work to ask sharp questions, spot risks, and help the team weigh trade-offs. Partner with Tech Leads to ensure complex initiatives have the right direction, and that our systems are adaptable and aligned with long-term goals.
Coach and grow engineers on the team. Help them scope ambiguous projects, navigate tough technical trade-offs, and prepare for high-stakes conversations. Create opportunities for them to take ownership and expand their impact, and support them through clear, actionable feedback.
Foster a culture of experimentation. Create an environment where the team can safely share and test ideas, measure results, and learn quickly from each other and our data to keep pace in a rapidly evolving space.
Lead with context and collaboration. Work across Product, UX, and engineering leadership to align roadmap goals with team capacity and ensure the team is solving the right problems for our users.
Nurture a high-performing, distributed team. Evolve our processes and communication patterns to enhance our distributed collaboration while maintaining a high level of trust within the team. Leverage our time zone coverage in Canada (ET/MT) and Sweden (CET) as an advantage, not a constraint to overcome.
Drive thoughtful AI-assisted development practices. Figure out where AI development tools accelerate the team versus where they create risk, and raise our standards accordingly. Cut through the noise to determine what adds real value vs. what is only hype.
We are looking for a leader who combines genuine passion for developing people with enough AI/ML depth to coach effectively, weigh in on technical trade-offs, and raise the bar on our practices. We care more about demonstrated impact and capabilities than whether you check every box.
3+ years managing or leading teams of engineers, with a track record of building healthy teams, delivering results, and coaching people through growth (regardless of title);
Hands-on experience building applied AI/ML systems. Enough to understand what good looks like, evaluate technical judgment, and have credible conversations on technical topics with the team;
A genuine coaching mindset. You find satisfaction in other peopleâs growth, give direct and useful feedback, and have coached Senior and Staff-level engineers; people who donât need hand-holding but benefit from thoughtful partnership;
Sound technical judgment. You can navigate complex decisions, weigh trade-offs, and help teams move toward adaptable, maintainable solutions, even when the right answer isnât obvious;
Strong cross-functional instincts. You communicate clearly with engineers, PMs, UX, and leadership, and understand that your job is to make the whole system work, not just to deliver features;
Experience working effectively across distributed teams. You understand that âremoteâ and âdistributedâ are different things, and know how to build cohesion when people arenât in the same room;
Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools and a perspective on how to effectively integrate them into engineering workflows and team practices;
Bachelorâs degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field; or equivalent practical experience.
Experience in high-stakes domains (security, healthcare, legal) where correctness matters;
Experience with AI/ML in constrained deployment models (on-prem, edge, air-gapped);
Experience building and operating scalable, distributed systems;
Familiarity with MLOps tooling (e.g., experiment tracking, model versioning, CI/CD for ML).
